摘要: The invention relates to an irradiation unit for the UV irradiation of particularly web-shaped substrates, comprising a housing (10), a tubular UV lamp (12), arranged therein and a reflector arrangement (14), running along the UV lamp (12). According to the invention, a simple exchangeability may be achieved, whereby the reflector arrangement comprises a support profile (22), retained in the housing (10) and a reflector profile (24), embodied as a shape-retaining molded piece which may be detachably connected thereto.

摘要: The invention relates to an irradiating device, especially for irradiating with ultraviolet light substrates which are provided with a coating that can be cured using ultraviolet light. The inventive device comprises a longitudinally extending radiation source (12) which is provided for emitting ultraviolet and/or visible electromagnetic radiation, which is arranged in a housing (10) between a reflector (18) and a housing opening (14) that can be aligned with an object (16) to be irradiated, and which is preferably configured as a tubular mercury discharge lamp. The inventive device also comprises a cooling system (20) for dissipating the waste heat generated by the radiation source (12). The aim of the invention is to create a compact modular construction and, optionally, an oxygen-reduced illumination zone. To this end, the invention provides that the cooling system (20) has a cooling circuit (26) arranged inside the housing (10) and which effects a circulatory cooling of the radiation source (12) by means of a force-conveyed, optionally oxygen-reduced cooling gas steam (28).

摘要: A connector system for a rod-shaped two-ended gas discharge lamp (12) with bases (20) disposed on the connector ends (16) of the discharge lamp (12) and with insert sockets (22) for receiving the bases (20) in a lamp housing (14). Each base (20) is provided with a contact pin (26) linked with a lamp electrode (36) with an insulating cylinder (28) surrounding the contact pin (26) while leaving a lateral connector opening (46) free. Each insert socket (22) is provided with a contact element (58) that can be detachably engaged with the corresponding contact pin (26) through the connector opening (46) of the pertaining base (20) and can be impinged upon with a high voltage. The insert socket is further provided with an insulating body (60) that carries the contact element (58) and covers the connector opening (46) in the connected state.
