Abstract: Remote administering a device by an administration server. A management operation is to be executed by the administration server on the device. A piece of information on state of use of the device is then obtained and an execution impact of the management operation is evaluated for a quality of service for a service supplied by the device, depending on the piece of information obtained and the management operation to be executed. A postponement of the execution of the management operation is requested from the administration server.
