Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to detect abnormality in an error detecting function early while minimizing adverse effects on transfer performance. Abstract: In a memory refreshing control apparatus for controlling a memory (20) comprising a plurality of bank memories (21, 22, 23, 24) each necessitating refreshing operation, a unique refreshing counter (11) produces a refreshing request while a memory access requesting section (13) produces an access request.
