摘要: A powder collection container includes a container body, a conveying screw, a shaft portion, and a screw portion. The container body has a collection port from which powder is to flows into the container body. The conveying screw includes a shaft portion and a screw portion. The shaft portion extends in an axial direction of the conveying screw. The screw portion is wound around the shaft portion. The conveying screw rotates in a specified direction to convey the powder, which has flowed into the container body, toward an end of the conveying screw in the axial direction. The conveying screw includes a non-screw portion around which no screw portion is wound at least one position of the shaft portion between the collection port and the end of the conveying screw in the axial direction.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a drying section, a cooling section, and an exhaust section. The drying section dries a recording medium on which an image is formed. The cooling section cools the recording medium dried by the drying section. The exhaust section exhausts air from the drying section and the cooling section through an exhaust port. The exhaust section includes a plurality of flow path determiners disposed on opposing walls of the exhaust section, to form an air flow path from the drying section to the exhaust port. The plurality of flow path determiners alternately projects from the opposing walls.

摘要: A liquid cartridge includes an ink bag for storing liquid and being capable of changing its shape, a housing for storing the ink bag, a guiding tube member for being placed in the ink bag, and a liquid supply outlet for providing the liquid to outside the ink bag and being connected to an end of the guiding tube member. Another end of the guiding tube member is placed close to or touching a bottom of the ink bag. The liquid cartridge further includes a bottom plate for supporting the bottom of the ink bag. The bottom plate is configured to be moved with respect to the housing. As remaining ink in the ink bag decreases, the bottom plate is moved to be in an inclining state by an inclination adding member that is placed in a cartridge installing unit of an apparatus.

摘要: A liquid container contains liquid to be supplied to a body of an image forming apparatus. The liquid container includes a liquid supply port part having a liquid supply port supplying the contained liquid and a cap member mounted on the liquid supply port part. The cap member has a sealing part sealing the liquid supply port and a holding part holding an information storage device storing information concerning the liquid. The sealing part and the holding part are separably connected together. When the cap member is mounted on the liquid supply port while the sealing part and the holding part are connected, the holding part is immovably fixed to the liquid supply port via the sealing part. When the sealing part has been separated from the holding part, the holding part comes to be able to move with respect to the liquid supply port.

摘要: A sheet stacking device include a guide unit and a blower. The guide unit receives a downstream end of a sheet in a sheet conveyance direction and guides the sheet downstream in the sheet conveyance direction. The blower blows air toward the sheet guided by the guide unit. A region of the blower from which the air is blown is changeable in response to a size of the sheet.

摘要: An absorption type refrigerating apparatus which has a high performance coefficient as an entire apparatus by improving the cooling capacities of the condensation function portion and the absorption function portion and can be reduced in size is constituted such that the cooling function portion 1 for cooling the absorption function portion (absorber) 1 by means of the first heat operation fluid (cooling water) 35a is divided into a plurality of sub-portions such as the cooling pipe 201A, cooling pipe 201H and absorption/heat exchanger 234, the flow passages of the first heat operation fluid 35a are connected to these cooling function sub-portions 201A, 201H and 234 in parallel/series like a route formed by the pipe lines 20, 20A, 20D and 21 and a route formed by the pipe lines 20, 20B, 20C and 21, and the cooling capacity of the cooling pipe 201H is increased by forming a continuous irregular surface 1C on the inner wall of the outer shell 1A of the absorber 1. The above apparatus may be modified such that the cooling pipe 201H is provided inside the absorber 1 and a cooling pipe is replaced for the absorption/heat exchanger 234 and installed inside the absorber 1.
