Abstract: A coupling member for joining a male member and a female member of a hearing aid device or a hearing diagnosis device is disclosed. The coupling member comprises a male member that comprises two or more annular ribs extending radially from a pipe member having a distal end. The female member comprises a number of cavities configured to receive and contain the annular ribs of the male member. The height of the annular ribs increases as function of the distance from the annular ribs to the distal end of the pipe member.
