Abstract: A distance-measuring device is utilized for measuring a measured distance between a measured object and the distance-measuring device. The distance-measuring device reduces the effect of a background light and a flicking light by removing the part corresponding to the background light and the flicking light from light-sensed signals generated by an image sensor of the distance-measuring device. In addition, the distance-measuring device calculates a calibrating parameter for calibrating an assemble-error angle of the distance-measuring device, according to an imaging location of a reflective light obtained by measuring a calibrating object with a predetermined distance. In this way, the distance-measuring device can correctly calculate out the measured distance.

Abstract: A touch sensor, a touch pad, a method for identifying an inadvertent touch event and a computer device are provided. A control circuit of the touch sensor identifies whether there is the inadvertent touch event in response to the touch signals that indicates at least one touch event applied to the touch pad having the touch sensor. In the method, the touch signals are discarded if the inadvertent touch event is identified when a touch position corresponding to the touch signals is within an object detection area defined for the touch pad, or the touch positions in response to the touch signals are reported to the computer device if a multi-touch event is identified when the touch positions are within a touch detection area defined for the touch pad.

Abstract: A key unit and a keyboard using the same are provided. The key unit includes a circuit board, an elastic element, a keycap, and a processing circuit. The circuit board includes a capacitance sensing circuit embedded therein, and the capacitance sensing circuit includes a pair of sensor electrodes. The elastic element is disposed on the circuit board. The keycap is moveably disposed above and spaced apart from the circuit board. The elastic element is disposed between the keycap and the circuit board so that the keycap moves between a non-depressed position and a depressed position with respect to the circuit board. The processing circuit is electrically connected to the pair of sensor electrodes to obtain a variation of a coupling capacitance between the pair of sensor electrodes and to determine whether the keycap is touched or depressed according to the variation of coupling capacitance.

Abstract: A pressure measuring method, applied to a pressure measuring apparatus, comprising: measuring a first pressure sensing value when the pressure measuring apparatus operates at a first scan frequency and receives a first pressure; and measuring a second pressure sensing value when the pressure measuring apparatus operates a second scan frequency and receives the first pressure. The first pressure sensing value and the second pressure sensing value are different, and a change between the first pressure sensing value and the second pressure sensing value is according to a change between the first scan frequency and the second scan frequency. The first scan frequency and the second scan frequency are different. The pressure measuring method can further comprise a calibrating mechanism to compensate the sensed pressure. By this way, the pressure sensing value can be calibrated, to solve the issue that the pressure sensing values are affected by scan frequencies.

Abstract: An object tracking method applied to an object tracking system comprising an object sensing device, an object identifying device, and a control interface comprising an object sensing region and an object identifying region. The object tracking method comprises: (a) generating object sensing values via the object sensing device; (b) calculating a location for the object on the object sensing region according to the object sensing values; and (c) adjusting the location for the object if the object sensing device or the object identifying device determines at least part of the object is on the object identifying region. The step (c) can adjust the location for the object if the object will enter the object identifying region. By this way, the dead zone issue for the control interface can be avoided.
