摘要： Photographic apparatus and a control system therefore which functions to carry out a series of operational events in response to the temporary, manual depression of a start switch. The control system incorporates an electronic latch which is activated only after select initial ones of these operational events are carried out. Additionally, the control system incorporates a feature preventing an unwanted repetition of photographic cycles as a consequence of inadvertant continued depression of the start switch before and beyond the termination of a given photographic cycle.

摘要： A flash photographic control system for use within a highly automatic reflex camera of a variety utilizing a flash firing circuit in conjunction with a packaged array of flashlamps. The firing circuit ignites the flashlamps sequentially in a predetermined order from first to last. The control system is characterized in electrically isolating the firing circuit during portions of a photographic cycle during which it would otherwise be subjected to spurious signals or noise effects. Additionally, an arrangement is provided wherein the control system overrides the flash firing network under select scene conditions of high brightness.

摘要： Photographic system and apparatus in the form of a highly automated reflex camera is described. The camera incorporates a multi-gate control circuit operating the components thereof through the operational phases in the course of a single photographic cycle. In the course of each such cycle, phase changes are monitored by transducers acting as an electricalmechanical interface within the system. The camera also features an automatic circuit reset operation in the event of a cycle malfunction.

摘要： A flash socket assembly for use with a camera having an exposure control circuit convertible between ambient and flash modes of operation, and a flash assembly especially adapted for use therewith. The flash assembly includes a connector having a set of terminals for a photoflash lamp and an electrically conductive strip. The strip is adapted to bridge a pair of spaced contacts in the socket assembly to convert the exposure control circuit of the camera from an ambient mode of operation to a flash mode of operation upon coupling the flash assembly to the socket assembly.
