    Abstract: An adapter management device configured to provide enhanced access to an adapter, includes: an adapter receiving portion; a perimeter portion; and a support portion that is configured to connect the adapter receiving portion to the perimeter portion. The adapter management device comprises a first side and a second side opposite to the first side; and the support portion, the adapter receiving portion, and the perimeter portion are configured to define an open area inside the perimeter portion that is structurally configured to permit access to a first side of a cable connector that faces a same direction as the first side of the adapter management device and a second side of the cable connector that faces a same direction as the second side of the adapter management device so as to facilitate connecting the cable connector to, and disconnecting the cable connector from, the adapter receiving portion.

    Abstract: A multi-fiber push on (MPO) connector configured to be field assembled after being pushed through a duct may include a ferrule portion configured to terminate fibers of a multi-fiber cable and a sub-assembly portion. The sub-assembly portion may be configured to include an adapter portion that may be configured to be coupled with the ferrule portion, a retaining portion that may be configured to be coupled with the multi-fiber cable, and a biasing portion that may be configured to extend on one or more sides of the fibers of the multi-fiber cable and to couple the adapter portion with the retaining portion. The biasing portion may be configured to apply one or more biasing forces to the adapter portion on one or more sides of the fibers to urge the ferrule portion in a forward direction such that the one or more biasing forces are balanced on such one or more sides of the fibers.
