    摘要: An apparatus for optical fiber manufacturing process is provided, including a raw material providing structure, a dopant providing structure, and a preform forming substrate tube. The dopant providing structure is disposed at a downstream side of the raw material providing structure and in communication with the raw material providing structure. The dopant providing structure includes an outer tube, a first inner tube, a first dopant providing container, a second inner tube, and a second dopant providing container. The first inner tube is disposed in the outer tube. The first dopant providing container is disposed in the first inner tube. The second inner tube is disposed in the outer tube at a downstream of the first inner tube. The second dopant providing container is disposed in the second inner tube. The preform forming substrate tube is disposed at a downstream side of the dopant providing structure.

    摘要: The invention comprises a photonic crystal fiber (PCF) assembly comprising a PCF and at least one ferrule structure. The PCF has a center axis and comprises a core region and a cladding region and a first fiber end section with a first fiber end. The ferrule structure has a center axis and is mounted to the first fiber end section. The ferrule structure comprises an inner ferrule arrangement and an outer ferrule arrangement surrounding the first fiber end section. The inner ferrule arrangement comprises an inner ferrule front section proximally to the first fiber end and an inner ferrule rear section distally to the first fiber end, and each of the inner ferrule sections have an inner diameter and in at least a length thereof fully surrounds the PCF. The inner ferrule rear section is anchored in an anchor length section to the first fiber end section and the inner ferrule front section supports the first fiber end section proximally to the first fiber end.

    摘要: An optical connector includes: a ferrule that has a brim part; an elastic member that presses the ferrule; a housing that houses the ferrule retractably, and the housing has a protrusion that contacts the brim part of the ferrule, which is pressed by the elastic member in which the protrusion prevents the ferrule from falling out forward; and a regulating part that regulates a rear side limiting position of the ferrule. An interval from a position of the ferrule to the rear side limiting position when the connector is connected is smaller than a retraction amount that the ferrule has retracted when the connector is connected.
