    摘要： Bis(sulfonyl)alkanol-containing polythioethers, compositions containing bis(sulfonyl)alkanol-containing polythioethers, methods of synthesizing bis(sulfonyl)alkanol-containing polythioethers and the use of bis(sulfonyl)alkanol-containing polythioethers in aerospace sealant applications are disclosed. The bis(sulfonyl)alkanol-containing polythioethers have bis(sulfonyl)alkanol groups incorporated into the backbone of the polythioether. Cured sealant compositions comprising the bis(sulfonyl)alkanol-containing polythioethers exhibit enhanced properties suitable for aerospace sealant applications.
