Abstract: A closure enclosing and protecting at least one line splice holder. The closure includes a first housing portion enclosing at least a portion of a hollow interior of the closure, the at least one line splice holder being located within the hollow interior. The first housing portion has a portal through which plural lines extend into the hollow interior. The closure includes a second housing portion actuatable with respect to the first housing portion to provide an additional portion of the hollow interior. The additional portion of the hollow interior is a volume to receive additional of the at least one line splice holder. The closure includes a coupling for connecting the second housing portion to the first housing portion.

Abstract: A clamp for suspending a wire is provided. The clamp includes a base having a support surface that defines a first boundary of a wire receiving region. The clamp includes a keeper having an elastomer lining that defines a second boundary of the wire receiving region. The clamp includes means for providing force to at least one of the keeper or the base such that, when the wire is in the receiving region, the elastomer lining is pressed against the wire to provide a static retaining force, as a function of the force, on the wire to retain the wire relative to the clamp and permits sliding of the wire relative to the clamp when a pulling force on the wire exceeds the static retaining force and remains within a designed slip force range.

Abstract: A cable restraint located in a splice enclosure to restrain a cable includes a tray having a bottom side with an upward facing surface. The cable restraint also includes a restraint bridge removably attached to the tray. The restraint bridge includes a central portion having a surface configured to cooperate with the tab feature to inhibit relative motion between the restraint bridge and the tray in a direction non-perpendicular to an axis of the cable. A restraint clip is removably attached to the restraint bridge and includes a restraint post attached to the body portion configured to secure a strength member of the cable to the restraint clip. The restraint clip further includes a column attached to the body portion configured to inhibit relative motion between the restraint clip and the restraint bridge in the direction non-perpendicular to the axis of the cable.

Abstract: A support device for supporting a cable includes a central support portion having a first side and a second side. The support device also includes a first leg portion extending between a first end and a second end, the first leg portion having a first helical winding. The support device also includes a second leg portion extending between a third end and a fourth end, the second leg portion having a second helical winding. The support device further includes a hanger portion attached to the central support portion. The hanger portion includes structure that cooperates with an associated attachment structure. The first leg portion is attached to the central support portion and the second leg portion is attached to the central support portion. The first helical winding and the second helical winding are configured to receive the cable.
