摘要: In order to address the difficulty of quickly and safely installing power lines on transmission towers, a transmission tower line attachment device (150) is provided for facilitating installation of a line (180) on a hanging sheave (100). The line attachment device (150) comprises a first guide arm (152) and an upper frame (154) spaced from the first guide arm (152). The upper frame (154) defines a throat (156) between the first guide arm (152) and the upper frame (154). A resilient first gate (158) is arranged at an outer end of the upper frame (154) between the upper frame (154) and the first guide arm (152) and is adapted to open inwardly into the throat (156) in response to an external force and to close when the external force is removed. The line attachment device (150) is adapted to be mounted on the hanging sheave (100) at an inner end of the upper frame (154) and first guide arm (20).

摘要: An electrically insulating rotary grip-all clamp stick having a double pawl operation unit for indirect hot-line work, and a method for operating an indirect hot-line tool mechanism using the clamp stick. The clamp stick is configured such that the operation unit is constituted by using a rack and a pinion gear so that a worker can safely and conveniently perform hot-line work or uninterruptible power work. A holder part and a hook assembly are operated by the operation unit, so that a tip tool can be solidly coupled to the holder part. Since a length of the operation unit is minimized, the worker can easily hold and operate the tip tool when the worker operates the tip tool, or performs work for removing a bind wire of a rotary wound-drawn type ultra-high-voltage distribution line or removing foreign substances including a layer coating an electric wire.

摘要: What is disclosed is an insulator for providing insulation between a stringing block for an electrical conductor and a pole or cross arm on which the stringing block is mounted. The insulator is made of a non-conductive material such as plastic. The insulator has an upper opening in the body that is configured for receiving a flange of a stringing roller. The insulator can be configured to be mounted directly to a pole or cross arm, such as by using a ratcheting strap. Alternatively the insulator can be configured to be positioned between the roller and a base, such as those known in the prior art.

A second conductor bundle is connected to the central support by a third structural string and to the second mounting point by a fourth structural string. A fifth structural string, perpendicular to the crossarm and extending between the first conductor bundle and the second conductor bundle, connects the central mounting point to a third conductor bundle that is further from the crossarm than the first conductor bundle and the second conductor bundle. A sixth structural string connects the vertical shaft to the third conductor bundle.

摘要: The present invention relates to replacing conductors in a high-voltage power transfer system. The method provides, for example, a method for maintaining sections of electrically conductive phases in a three-phase power conductor line, wherein the three phases are parallel and spaced apart in an ordered sequence. The phases are strung between support structures and supported above the ground. Maintenance work, which include replacement or repair, is performed on sections of the three phases without interrupting a power load in any one of the three phases and without transposing the relative positions of the phases out of their ordered sequence.

摘要: A method is for mounting an object, such as a line sensor, to a power line. The method includes: i) suspending and tensioning at least two ropes between a physical ground and a power line; ii) coupling a rope robot with the at least two ropes in such a way that the rope robot can climb up and down the at least two ropes in operational use; iii) providing an object on the rope robot; iv) making the rope robot climb up to the power line to bring the object close to the power line; v) mounting the object to the power line with the rope robot, and vi) decoupling the rope robot from the object and making the rope robot climb down the at least two ropes. A rope robot is disclosed for carrying out this method.
