A common mode noise filter includes a laminated body having insulator layers therein and first and second spiral conductors provided on layer planes different from each other. The first spiral conductor includes a first spiral conductor line, a first pad provided at an outer end of the first spiral conductor line, and a second pad provided at an inner end of the first spiral conductor line. The second spiral conductor includes a second spiral conductor line, a third pad provided at an outer end of the second spiral conductor line, and a fourth pad provided at an inner end of the second spiral conductor line. The first spiral conductor line faces the second spiral conductor line. Each of the second pad and the sixth pad overlaps none of the fourth pad and the eighth pad viewing from above.

A common mode noise filter includes a non-magnetic body and first to third coil conductors provided inside the non-magnetic body. The second coil conductor is provided in a downward direction from the first coil conductor. The third coil conductor is provided in the downward direction from the second coil conductor. The first and third coil conductors deviate in a direction perpendicular to the downward direction with respect to the second coil conductor. At least one of the first and third coil conductors overlaps the second coil conductor viewing from the direction perpendicular to the downward direction. This common mode noise filter allows these coil conductors to be magnetically coupled to each other with a preferable balance, thereby preventing degradation of differential signals.

A signal transmission device includes a differential driver, a first single-ended driver circuit block, a second single-ended driver circuit block, a control circuit, and a common-mode filter. In the case where two-channel single-ended transmission is performed by using the first and second single-ended driver circuit blocks, the control circuit controls a driving capability of the first single-ended driver circuit block and a driving capability of the second single-ended driver circuit block in accordance with a combination of a change in a logical value of an output signal of the first single-ended driver circuit block and a change in a logical value of an output signal of the second single-ended driver circuit block.

A common mode noise filter of the present disclosure includes: a first insulating layer; a second insulating layer formed under the first insulating layer; a first coil including a first coil conductor and a second coil conductor, the first coil conductor being electrically connected to the second coil conductor; a second coil including a third coil conductor and a fourth coil conductor, the third coil conductor being electrically connected to the fourth coil conductor; and a third coil including a fifth coil conductor and a sixth coil conductor, the fifth coil conductor being electrically connected to the sixth coil conductor. Further, the first coil conductor, the third coil conductor, and the fifth coil conductor are sequentially formed on the first insulating layer from the outer side. The sixth coil conductor, the fourth coil conductor, and the second coil conductor are sequentially formed on second insulating layer from the outer side.
