摘要: An image display apparatus includes: a display panel; a back frame including a flat portion and a side wall; light sources arranged in rows and columns at substantially equal intervals in the flat portion; support pins arranged in rows and columns at substantially equal intervals in the flat portion and away from the light sources; a diffuser panel diffusely emitting light from the light sources toward the display panel; and a luminance-equalizing sheet that is supported on the support pins, between the diffuser panel and the back frame, has an outer edge substantially overlapping an outer edge of an active area of the display panel, and transmits part of the light from the light sources toward the diffuser panel. The luminance-equalizing sheet protrudes in a curved manner toward the side wall between the diffuser panel and the side wall such that distance to the back frame gradually decreases outward.

摘要: A video display device includes: a display panel that displays an image based on an input image signal; a light source substrate that includes a plurality of light sources on a main surface which is a front side of the light source substrate, and emits, toward a rear side of the display panel, light emitted from the plurality of light sources; a reflection sheet that is provided on the main surface of the light source substrate, and in which hollow partitioning walls each of which separates adjacent two light sources of the plurality of light sources are formed; an optical member that is provided between the display panel and the light source substrate, and uniformizes luminance distribution of the light emitted from the light source substrate; and support members each of which is provided between the light source substrate and the optical member, and supports the optical member. The reflection sheet includes intersection portions where the partitioning walls formed in a first direction and the partitioning walls formed in a second direction crossing the first direction cross each other, and further includes linear portions formed in parallel with the first direction or the second direction. Each of the support members is disposed in a recess portion formed in a corresponding linear portion.

摘要: A display device includes: a display panel that displays an image; a plurality of mount boards having long-length shaped disposed along the display panel; and light emitting elements arrayed on each of the plurality of mount boards in a longitudinal direction of each of the plurality of mount boards. The light emitting elements emit light toward the display panel from behind the display panel, and are arranged in a matrix shape along the display panel. The display device further includes: a back surface board on which the plurality of mount boards is stuck by an adhesive member; and a reflective sheet mounted to the back surface board. The reflective sheet has holes that allow the light emitting elements to pass through at positions corresponding to the light emitting elements, and reflects the light emitted from the light emitting elements toward the display panel. Each of the plurality of mount boards is constituted of a flexible wiring board.

摘要: A video display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, and light source substrates configured to illuminate the liquid crystal display panel from a rear side of the liquid crystal display panel. Each of the light source substrates includes a plurality of light emitting diodes each of which is provided in corresponding one of areas different from each other in the liquid crystal display panel, and driver elements which drive each of the plurality of light emitting diodes such that light is emitted with luminance corresponding to brightness within a corresponding area of an image in accordance with a control signal. First conductive foil is disposed on a first main surface of the light source substrate on which the light emitting diodes are provided. Second conductive foil is disposed on a second main surface of the light source substrate on a side opposite to the first main surface. Ground pattern foil is disposed as the second conductive foil on the second main surface in regions each of which includes a corresponding one of the plurality of light emitting diodes in a plan view. The first conductive foil and the second conductive foil have a substantially equivalent area.
