Abstract: An information acquisition system includes a transport device, a communication unit and a receiver. The transport device allows one or more articles to be put on or in and is used for transportation of the one or more articles in a facility. The communication unit is configured to communicate with the transport device. The receiver is configured to acquire state information from the transport device through communication between the communication unit and the transport device. The state information is information on a state of the transport device.
