Abstract: A measurement device includes: an imager that captures a target including a pallet and a load, the pallet including a reference target; an image processing unit that extracts a specific region in each of the reference target and a region of the load based on image data of the target; and a calculator that acquires first coordinate information indicating 3D coordinates associated with the image data of the target and standard load form structure information indicating a structural dimension of a standard load form of the pallet associated with coordinates of the specific region, and calculates protruding lengths of the load protruding from the pallet. The image processing unit extracts the specific region by inputting the image data of the target into a first machine learning model subjected to training by using, as training data, image data of the pallet and data indicating the specific region.

Abstract: A CPU in a character recognition device detects at least one candidate character area having a likelihood higher than zero in the input image, the likelihood being a likelihood of including a character. The CPU determines that a candidate character area having a likelihood higher than a threshold as a character area. The CPU then superimposes the character area over the input image, and displays the resultant image. The CPU acquires a user input designating a first point on the input image. The CPU raises the likelihood of the candidate character area that is included in a first correction area including the first point. The CPU determines a candidate character area having a likelihood higher than a threshold as a character area again. The CPU then superimposes the character area over the input image and displays the resultant image again. The CPU recognizes the characters included in the character areas.

Abstract: The computing circuit detects a plurality of character regions in the input image, each of the plurality of character regions including a character or a character string made of a plurality of characters. The computing circuit determines a direction of the character or the character string in each of the character regions. The computing circuit recognizes the character or the character string in each of the character regions. The computing circuit generates a connected region by connecting at least two character regions including the character(s) or the character string(s) having a same direction, the at least two character regions being close to each other at a distance less than a threshold. The computing circuit connects the character(s) or the character string(s) included in the connected region to each other.

Abstract: A plane detecting device according to the present disclosure includes an information acquisition unit, a likelihood acquisition unit, and a plane detector. The information acquisition unit acquires visible image information of a target having a predetermined plane and 3D coordinate information corresponding to the visible image information. The likelihood acquisition unit acquires likelihoods indicating a planarity of the predetermined plane of the target from the visible image information. The plane detector detects the predetermined plane of the target through a robust estimation method by using the 3D coordinate information and the likelihood.
