Abstract: An imaging apparatus, which can be mounted with an interchangeable lens and operates with power from a battery, includes: a connection detachably connected to the interchangeable lens; a controller that controls a lower-limit voltage indicating a lower limit for supplying power from the battery; and a selector that selects one operation mode from a plurality of operation modes for operating the imaging apparatus with power from the battery, wherein the controller switches the lower-limit voltage among a plurality of set values respectively corresponding to combinations of types of the interchangeable lens and the plurality of operation modes on a basis of the interchangeable lens connected to the connection and the operation mode selected by the selector.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus that performs image capturing operation in a plurality of operation modes, includes: an image sensor that captures a subject image via an optical system to generate image data; a temperature acquisition circuit that acquires temperature of the image sensor; and a controller that switches the plurality of operation modes based on the temperature of the image sensor. The plurality of operation modes includes a first operation mode and a second operation mode in which the image sensor consumes less power than in the first operation mode. The controller changes an operation mode of the imaging apparatus from the first operation mode to the second operation mode when the temperature of the image sensor increases to first temperature in image capturing operation in the first operation mode. The first temperature is lower than temperature at which execution of a predetermined function is restricted in the imaging apparatus.

Abstract: An imaging device includes: a mechanical shutter; a shutter driver that operates the mechanical shutter in a continuous shooting mode and a single shooting mode; a driving electric power supplier; and an undercut controller (undercut/driving electric power controller) that stops operation of the imaging device when a power supply voltage becomes lower than a predetermined undercut voltage. In the single shooting mode, the driving electric power supplier lowers a driving electric power and the undercut controller stops operation of the imaging device at a lower undercut voltage.

Abstract: The imaging device 102, to which an extension device 103 for accommodating an external battery 202 can be detachably attached, comprises a main body 102a for accommodating an internal battery 201, a charge IC 231, an operation unit 160, and a charge microcomputer 232. The charge IC 231 charges the internal battery 201 or the external battery 202 with power input from outside. The operation unit 160 receives an input for setting a use order of the internal battery 201 and the external battery 202. The charge microcomputer 232 controls the charge IC 231 so as to charge the internal battery 201 or the external battery 202 according to the priority order.
