Abstract: An imaging device is an imaging device in and from which a battery can be fitted, the imaging device including a CMOS image sensor, a USB port, and a microcomputer. The CMOS image sensor images a subject. The USB port supplies power to the imaging device via a USB cable. The microcomputer detects whether or not the battery is fitted in the imaging device. The microcomputer enables an action of the CMOS image sensor by way of the power from the USB port when the battery is fitted in the imaging device. The microcomputer disables the action of the imaging unit that rely on the power from the USB port when the battery is not fitted in the imaging device.

Abstract: The imaging device 102, to which an extension device 103 for accommodating an external battery 202 can be detachably attached, comprises a main body 102a for accommodating an internal battery 201, a charge IC 231, an operation unit 160, and a charge microcomputer 232. The charge IC 231 charges the internal battery 201 or the external battery 202 with power input from outside. The operation unit 160 receives an input for setting a use order of the internal battery 201 and the external battery 202. The charge microcomputer 232 controls the charge IC 231 so as to charge the internal battery 201 or the external battery 202 according to the priority order.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes an image capturing unit configured to capture a subject to generate image data, a communication unit configured to receive image data from a plurality of electronic devices, and a controller configured to combine an image indicated by the image data received from an electronic device registered in advance as a target device for a predetermined function with an image indicated by the image data generated by the image capturing unit. The controller registers the electronic devices as the target device, the number of registered electronic devices being equal to or less than a first predetermined number. The controller limits the number of the electronic devices from which the image data is received to a second predetermined number or less, with the second predetermined number being less than the first predetermined number.

Abstract: An imaging device is an imaging device in and from which a battery can be fitted, including a USB port and a body controller. The USB port can be connected to an external device via a USB cable and supply power to the imaging device from the external device. The body controller detects whether or not the battery has been removed from the imaging device while the power is being supplied from the external device to the imaging device in a case where the external device is a USB PD-compliant device, and according to the detection, the controller cuts off the power supply from the external device.

Abstract: This disclosure includes a battery, an electricity input part for receiving electricity supplied from an external device, a charging controller for charging the battery with the electricity having been supplied via the electricity input part, and a controller for controlling execution of automatic backup. When the electricity input part is connected to the external device and there is data to be subjected to the automatic backup, until the automatic backup is completed, the controller compares a remaining capacity of the battery with a threshold, and executes the automatic backup when the remaining capacity is higher than the threshold. The controller is configured not to execute the automatic backup when the remaining capacity is equal to or lower than the threshold.
