A data center physical infrastructure management system has a cabinet having rack spaces and a sensor. A data communication system transmits signals to a management database. Personal or automated intervention is determined algorithmically by a data processor. A human interface for the data center management system is provided. Removable electronic assets contained in the rack spaces each have an identifier tag. An identifier tag reader is installed on the cabinet body. A door sensor provides a signal responsive to whether a cabinet door is closed, open, locked, or unlocked, Also, a secure contact arrangement has a base terminal formed of electrically conductive material, and first and second electrically conductive elements. A resilient non-conductive element is interposed between the first and second electrically conductive elements, and a compression element compresses the resilient non-conductive element to cause the first and second electrically conductive elements to communicate with one another.

A flush mount table-top assembly designed to mount an automatic cable tie tool to a work surface. The flush mount assembly includes an overlay plate, a tool cage, and a paddle assembly. The tool cage holds the automatic cable tie tool. The tool cage is suspended from the overlap plate by an integrated insert plate to enable the top of the automatic cable tie tool to protrude above the work surface. The paddle assembly is rotatably mounted to the insert plate. The paddle assembly activates the automatic cable tie tool. When not in use, the flush mount assembly can be configured to restore work surfaces lost due to fixture implementation.

A releasable cable tie having a cable tie head, a neck, and a strap body. The cable tie head includes a strap passageway extending from an entrance end at the bottom of the cable tie head to an exit end at the top of the cable tie head. The cable tie head also includes a locking wedge and a release mechanism pivotally connected to the locking wedge. The strap body includes a plurality of teeth on one side of the strap body. The strap body wraps around the cables and extends through the strap passageway engaging the locking wedge to secure cables. When desired, the release mechanism is lifted to disengage the locking wedge from the teeth of the strap body to release the cables.
