摘要： A textile structure with dual layers is knitted in a single operation such that linking threads forming the core of the structure have an orientation that can be adapted to requirements, in both the warp and weft directions. To achieve this, each course of linking threads is engaged alternatively on each layer with selected stitches on a single course of stitches. In addition, two consecutive courses of linking threads are engaged on one of the layers with a single course of stitches and, on the other layer with non-consecutive courses of stitches.
