摘要： A warewasher such as a domestic dishwashing machine has a first recirculating path for recirculating wash and rinse fluids through nozzles which spray the fluid onto food ware items in the wash chamber of the warewasher. Fluid is also circulated from the wash chamber through a soil collecting circuit which conducts fluid to a soil collector where soil is filtered from the fluid before it is returned to the wash chamber. The soil collector quickly removes food soil debris from the fluid on its first passage through the soil collecting circuit and holds it for discharge into the warewasher drain system when the fluids are subsequently drained from the warewasher. A drain pump impeller is used to perform the dual functions of draining liquid from the chamber and recirculating fluid through the soil collecting circuit. In its preferred form, liquid passing through the first recirculating path is preliminarily filtered thereby preventing soil particles from being recirculated and redeposited onto the food ware items. In such preferred form of warewasher, soil removed from the ware can only enter the soil collecting circuit, and by being captured on its initial pass, is prevented from being reduced in particle size, thus minimizing turbidity of the water.

摘要： The recirculating pump output is monitored as the pump is operated during each fill cycle, and the fill is terminated just when the desired pump output is reached. The output is less than the pump maximum and results from continuous aspiration of water and air into the pump inlet, thus using only the minimum liquid necessary, and automatically reducing liquid consumption during subsequent fills as the washing operation progresses. The pump inlet faces downwardly at the bottom of the dishwasher tank to control surging.

The fluid coupling for the spray arm is not affected by changes in the upper rack vertical position.
