摘要: Scheduling of a Temporary Block Flow in a wireless communication system, wherein a type of Temporary Block Flow supported in the wireless communication system is evaluated (310) and a set of packet data channels pre-assigned to the Temporary Block Flow is identified. For a type of Temporary Block Flow supporting dynamic scheduling, carrier scheduling is performed by identifying timeslots (320) available for packet data scheduling for the Transmission Time Interval, determining a new set of packet data channels for potential scheduling to the Temporary Block Flow in the Transmission Time Interval, wherein the new set of packet data channels may include time slots on any carrier(s), and specifying (330) the packet data channels selected for potential scheduling for the Temporary Block Flow as a subset of packet data channels within the pre-assigned packet data channels. Packet data channels are allocated (340) for the Temporary Block Flow in the Transmission Time Interval. The Temporary Block Flow is scheduled (350) to the set of packet data channels.

摘要: The present invention relates to assigning addresses to communication devices in a radio access network and notifying communication devices of scheduled uplink transmission time periods. Related methods, communication devices and control units are disclosed. A method of assigning an address to a communication device in a radio access network for use in notification of scheduled uplink transmission time periods for the communication device is provided. The method comprises assigning to the communication device an uplink state flag (USF) value. Furthermore, the method comprises assigning to the communication device an extended USF (eUSF) value. The address assigned to the communication device is a combination of the assigned USF value and the assigned eUSF value. By means of the eUSF value, the normal address range provided by the USF is extended, thereby facilitating use of more communication devices in the radio access network.

摘要: A method, node, and system are provided that overcome problems with using inaccurate estimates of a current round trip time RTT for verifying the ACK/NACK information received in an ACK/NACK report, e.g., a piggy-backed ACK/NACK (PAN). This is accomplished by de-coupling the RTT from the ACK/NACK analysis performed in the sending node that receives the ACK/NACK report. As a result, unnecessary re-transmissions are avoided, communication delays are decreased, and spectrum and other system resources are used more efficiently.
