Abstract:
A photography studio with a turntable driving mechanism is provided. The turntable is driven to start or brake by at least two timing pulleys contacting with the side of the turntable, and the timing pulleys were driven synchronously by another motorized timing pulley through a timing belt. Therefore, at least two indirect contact points are formed between the motorized timing pulley and the turntable to increase the contact friction to avoid sliding when the rotation of the turntable starts or brakes. In addition, a multilayer platform for shooting shadow-free images is proposed, which comprises a thicker transparent glass plate or plastic plate covered with a thinner curved translucent plastic plate and a group of lamps disposed under or behind the multilayer platform.

The present invention discloses an automatic linear-motion and tilt-angle control apparatus for an image-capture device inside a photography light box, which includes: a photography light box, a linear-motion module, a rotation module, and a fixing seat. The linear-motion module further includes: servo motors, ball screws, linear sliding rails and a sliding table to implement the horizontal and vertical motions of an image-capture device inside the photography light box. The rotation module includes: stepping motors, worm gears, and worm wheels to rotate the image-capture device when the linear-motion module moves the image-capture device horizontally, and tilts the image-capture device when the linear-motion module moves the image-capture device vertically to an appropriate height so that the image-capture device can be aimed at the object. The fixing seat is used to fix the image-capture device and disposed on a rotation table in an emptied hole.

A method of remote capture with user interface providing separate inside- and outside-light-box modes is provided, wherein when the user selects the inside-light-box mode together with an automatic mode to take a photograph, it is the photographic parameters, which are obtained experimentally for various cameras under given light sources, but not the photographic parameters, which are automatically generated by the light sensor of the camera, that are utilized to control the camera. Via the inside-light-box mode together with the automatic mode, an image in good qualities is acquired.

A lens seated device for driving a single lens reflex (SLR) camera zooming comprises an adapting ring, a big gear, a small gear, a motor and a chassis. The chassis sustains the SLR camera, the adapting ring, the big gear, the small gear and the motor. The adapting ring clinches around the lens of the SLR camera and is seated and fixed on the big gear. The motor is used for driving and directly rotating the small gear, and then the small gear will drive to rotate the big gear. The rotation of the big gear will drive and rotate the adapting ring accordingly, and thereby drive the lens of the SLR camera for zooming.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus to obtain a substantially accurate digital color image of a subject at relatively low cost. A moveable enclosure containing a controlled lighting source provides a controlled lighting environment that costs considerably less than a traditional photo studio and is more convenient to use for many applications. A digital color image capture device captures an image of a subject in the enclosure. The captured image is sent to a computer where a stored color profile previously obtained from a calibration of the digital image capture device is used by a software program to automatically correct the color of the captured image. The color-corrected image can then be distributed to other computers for display.

Nonlinear movement and tilt angle control structure of an image capture device inside a light box includes a nonlinear motion set, a rotation set, a cartridge and a compartment. The nonlinear motion set uses dual guiding rails or a single guiding rail to drive the image capture device from top and side directions. The rotation set rotates the image capture device. The cartridge carries the rotation set and is driven by the nonlinear motion set to perform the nonlinear motion. And, the compartment is configured inside the rotation set to ride and fasten the image capture device.

This specification discloses a mask close-on image capturing device, which includes a mask with an opening, several light sources and an image capturing device installed inside the mask. Light emitted by the light sources emanates homogeneously from the opening of the mask. The lens of the image capturing device faces the opening of the mask, which is put close to an object. The homogeneous light shines on the object for the image capturing device to focus automatically and quickly capture a clear image. Therefore, the invention has the advantages of being easy and quick to operate and clear images.

A computer controlled system for synchronizing photography implementation between a 3-D turntable and an image capture device with automatic image format conversion includes a 3-D turntable, a 3-D turntable control module, an image capture device, an image capture control module and an automatic image format conversion module. A physical object is placed on the 3-D turntable and shot by the image capture device for each increment of a given degree of rotation angle. After a full around of rotation, the images are stored into a designated image folder in the computer and then automatically transformed into displayable format by the automatic image format conversion module. With fully automatic image generation and format conversion, what the user needs to do is only to place the object on the 3-D turntable, determine the number of images to be shot for a single revolution of the 3-D turntable, and press a start button.
