摘要： A cover restricting mechanism is adapted for use in a foldable electronic device. The cover (10) has a first barrel portion (13) at one end thereof. The cover restricting mechanism includes a blocking element and a cushion device (20). The blocking element is secured to and protrudes out of the first barrel portion of the cover. The cushion device includes a sleeve (21) and an elastic element (22). The sleeve includes an extending portion (216) extending axially thereof. One end of the elastic element is secured on the sleeve. The other end of the elastic element protrudes out of the extending portion of the sleeve and abuts the blocking element.

摘要： A battery cover fixing mechanism is provided for coupling a cover (1) to a housing (2) of a portable electronic device. The battery cover fixing mechanism includes a blocking mechanism, an opening (16), a latching mechanism, a slot (20) and a cutout (24). The cover forms the blocking mechanism and defines the opening. The housing defines the slot and the cutout. The latching mechanism includes a block (30), an elastic member (32), a slider (34) having a blocking part, and a holder (36) fixed to the housing. The slider is slidably attached on the holder. The block is fixed on the slider and extends through the cutout and the opening. The blocking mechanism of the cover engages in the slot of the housing and with the blocking part of the slider. Two ends of the elastic member are respectively attached to the holder and the slider.

The cover restricting mechanism includes a projection (31), a housing (20), and a stopping element (32). The projection is provided at one end of the cover. The housing has an inner surface and a corresponding cavity. The stopping element is provided at the inner surface of the housing, and, when the foldable electronic device is in an open position the projection abuts the stopping element. The stopping element is made of an elastomeric material and is configured for slowing the movement of the projection and, thus, the cover once abutment occurs.

The positioning portion and the button are received in the button hole, with the second inclined portion being engaged with the first inclined portion.
