A continuous barrier system around the cable feedthrough is provided by a connecting element with at least two interconnecting insulating barriers, which can be inserted into the shielding assemblies, even if the shielding assembly is configured from sub-segments. The disclosure also relates to an electric shield for a cable feedthrough and to a method for producing an electric shield for a cable feedthrough.
