    摘要： A collecting bag comprising a bag member formed by two film blanks with joined edges, an inlet opening being provided in one of the film blanks surrounded by connecting elements for connection of the bag to a body orifice. The bag is emptied through a narrowed, elongated discharge portion ending in a discharge opening. A closure device provided at the discharge portion for bringing the bag from an open to a closed position of use includes a first closure means at the proximal or distal end of the discharge portion and a second closure means. The closure device is arranged for opening and closing of the bag in two distinct stages by successive operation of the first and second closure means.

    摘要： A convex shell for use in a base plate of an ostomy appliance includes an annular ring defined by an outer edge and an inner edge of defining a through-going hole. The annular ring has at least four transition sections extending transversely across the annular ring, dividing the annular ring into at least a first, second, third and fourth segment. By changing the characteristics of the convex shell in such sections, it is possible to control the bending of the shell. The shell also makes it possible to keep the area around the stoma more stable and resistant towards collapsing, while providing improved flexibility in the peristomal area for better comfort.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a convex shell (1) for use in a base plate of an ostomy appliance. The convex shell comprises an annular ring (5) defined by an outer edge (6) and an inner edge (7) defining a through-going hole (8). The annular ring further comprises at least four transition sections (9,10,11,12) extending transversely across the annular ring, dividing the annular ring into at least a first, second, third and fourth segment (15,16,17,18). By changing the characteristics of the convex shell in such sections, it is possible to control the bending of the shell and, as will be described herein, it will be possible to keep the area around the stoma more stable and resistant towards collapsing, while providing improved flexibility in the peristomal area for better comfort.
