摘要: The present invention relates to treatment operations in subterranean zones, and more particularly, to consolidation compositions and methods of using these consolidation compositions to mitigate water production from subterranean formations. The present invention provides methods for mitigating the production of water from a subterranean formation by injecting consolidation compositions comprising a furan-based resin into an interval in the subterranean formation.

摘要: Methods comprising: providing at least a plurality of liquid hardenable resin coated particulates that have been at least partially coated with a liquid hardenable resin component; providing at least a plurality of liquid hardening agent coated particulates that have been at least partially coated with a liquid hardening agent component; suspending the liquid hardenable resin coated particulates and the liquid hardening agent coated particulates in a treatment fluid; and placing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation. Methods comprising: providing at least a plurality of coated particulates that have been at least partially coated with one component of a two component resin system; coating at least a plurality of the coated particulates on a job site with a second component of a two component resin system; suspending the coated particulates in a treatment fluid; and placing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation.

摘要: A method of consolidating particulates comprising providing a slurry comprising a carrier fluid, a first portion of particulates, and a second portion of particulates wherein the first portion of particulates is at least partially coated with resin or tackifying agent and wherein the second portion of particulates is substantially free of resin or tackifying agent; introducing the slurry into a portion of a subterranean formation such that the first portion of particulates and second portion of particulates to form a particulate pack in the portion of the subterranean formation; and, allowing the resin to substantially consolidate the particulate pack. A particulate slurry for use in subterranean formations comprising a carrier fluid, a first portion of particulates, and a second portion of particulates wherein the first portion of particulates is at least partially coated with resin or tackifying agent and wherein the second portion of particulates is substantially free of resin or tackifying agent.

摘要: Methods of continuously forming and suspending hardenable resin-fibrous material composite coated proppant in a carrier liquid are provided. The methods basically comprise dissolving a hardenable resin composition and a fibrous material in a solvent which is insoluble in the carrier liquid, pumping the carrier liquid, combining uncoated proppant with the carrier liquid as the carrier liquid is pumped and combining the hardenable resin composition-fibrous material solution with the carrier liquid as the carrier liquid is pumped whereby the proppant is coated with a hardenable resin composition-fibrous material composite.
