Abstract: A light assembly with a removable reflector for use in a ceiling, wall, or the like is provided. The reflector has a top surface with a substantially hurricane-shaped mounting aperture defined by a primary diameter and a secondary diameter that intersect each other and in which the primary diameter is greater than the secondary diameter. When the reflector is rotated, the secondary diameter approaches a holding key in the light assembly, which engages the top surface to releasably hold the reflector within the light assembly. A method of releasably installing the reflector is also described.
