Abstract: The disclosure provides a driving device and a driving method for a light-emitting element. The driving device includes a driving circuit, a softstart circuit, and a capacitor. An output terminal of the softstart circuit is coupled to the capacitor and the driving circuit to provide a dimming voltage. A driving signal output by the driving circuit drives a light-emitting element circuit. The driving circuit is enabled or disabled based on an enabling signal. Based on a relationship between the dimming voltage and current information of the light-emitting element circuit, the driving circuit dynamically adjusts a duty cycle of the driving signal. In response to the enabling signal disabling the driving circuit, the softstart circuit pulls down an original adjustment voltage to generate a pulled-down voltage as the dimming voltage. In response to the enabling signal enabling the driving circuit, the softstart circuit pulls up the dimming voltage.

Abstract: A projection apparatus includes a solid-state light source module, a high-voltage power source, an image-forming-light generating module, an insulation ring and a projection lens module. The solid-state light source module has a solid-state light source and a first metal casing. The solid-state light source is disposed in the first metal casing. The high-voltage power source is electrically connected to the solid-state light source for providing electrical power to drive the solid-state light source to emit light. The image-forming-light generating module has a second metal casing. The insulation ring is connected to the first metal casing and the second metal casing for insulating the first metal casing from the second metal casing. The projection lens module is connected to the image-forming-light generating module for projecting an image generated by light emitted from the solid-state light source after the light enters the image-forming-light generating module through the insulation ring.

Abstract: A light source driving method is applied to a light source driving module electrically connected to a light source and a controller. The light source driving module includes a frequency setting module, a driving circuit, and a conversion module. The frequency setting module generates a frequency setting signal according to a switching signal. The driving circuit generates a light source driving signal after receiving the switching signal and a current control signal. The conversion module selectively generates a driving current flowing through the light source in response to the light source driving signal. The driving current increases continuously during a rising duration, and the light source driving signal has a first operating frequency during the rising period. The driving current remains unchanged during a stable duration, and the light source driving signal has a second operating frequency during the stable period.

Abstract: A lamp driver circuit for driving a lamp is provided. The lamp driver circuit includes: an under voltage protection circuit; a control circuit coupled to the under voltage protection circuit; and a driver transistor coupled to the control circuit for driving the lamp under the control of the control circuit. The under voltage protection circuit detects an operation voltage. When the operation voltage is lower than a threshold, the under voltage protection circuit outputs an enable signal. The control circuit receives the enable signal to shut down the control circuit and shut down the driver transistor.

Abstract: A projector drive circuit includes a first voltage converter, a light source driver, a second voltage converter, and an isolation circuit. The first voltage converter converts a first voltage into a second voltage. The light source driver converts the second voltage into a third voltage. The second voltage converter converts the second voltage into a fourth voltage. The control circuit, coupled to the second voltage converter, receives the fourth voltage and outputs a first control signal. The isolation circuit, coupled to the control circuit and the light source driver, receives the first control signal and generates a second control signal to the light source driver, which controls the light source driver to generate the third voltage and provide the third voltage to a light source according to the second control signal. The isolation circuit electrically isolates the control circuit from the light source driver.
