    摘要: In one aspect, an extended SSB (ESSB) is provided that includes more than four symbols to facilitate UE reception of SSBs. In this aspect, the base station configures an ESSB comprising an SSB including four symbols and an initial symbol preceding the SSB. The base station transmits and the UE receives at least a portion of the ESSB. The UE processes the ESSB. Thus, higher capacity UEs can benefit from additional coding gain in the initial symbol while lower capacity UEs can switch beams to receive back-to-back ESSBs. In another aspect, a UE performs additional behaviors to receive SSBs. In this aspect, the UE receives a first SSB using a reception beam, and the UE determines to maintain the reception beam for a second SSB or to switch the reception beam during a PSS symbol of the second SSB. Thus, lower capacity UEs can also receive back-to-back SSBs.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), an aperiodic synchronization signal block comprising an indication timing for receipt of an aperiodic remaining system information transmission. The UE may receive the aperiodic synchronization signal block and monitor for the aperiodic remaining system information based on receiving the aperiodic synchronization signal block. The base station may transmit, to the UE, the aperiodic remaining system information comprising an indication of timing for one or more occasions for physical random access channel transmission. The UE may receive the aperiodic remaining system information based on the timing for receipt included in the aperiodic synchronization signal block and select at least one occasion for the physical random access channel transmission based on the timing.

    Multi-stage downlink grant for multiple PDSCH

    摘要: Aspects of a multi-stage multi-PDSCH grant are provided which allow a UE to obtain data in a downlink data burst with more scheduling flexibility than single-stage multi-PDSCH grants. A base station provides the UE in a downlink control channel a first portion of downlink control information which indicates a plurality of downlink data transmissions. The UE monitors the downlink control channel for the first portion of downlink control information. Afterwards, the base station sends to the UE a second portion of the downlink control information including parameters for one of the downlink data transmissions. The base station may also send the UE a third portion of the downlink control information including additional parameters for the downlink data transmission. After the UE obtains the portions, the UE decodes the one of the downlink data transmissions indicated at least in part by the first and second portion of the downlink control information.

    摘要: Timing considerations for autonomous uplink (AUL) downlink feedback information (AUL-DFI) is disclosed. With the flexible timeline for new radio (NR) operations, signaling of the processing timeline may be used for the served user equipments (UEs) to properly interpret the acknowledgement information in the AUL-DFI. The UE receives a signal identifying a minimum processing time of the serving base station to process AUL. Using the knowledge of the minimum processing time, the UE determines which of the outstanding AUL transmissions are accurately addressed in the AUL-DFI and which are still pending. Additional signaling to the UE may instruct the UE when to implement any changes to transmission parameters also signaled via the AUL-DFI. Slots prior to the indicated change time will be transmitted using the current parameters, while slots after the indicated time will use the updated parameters from the AUL-DFI.
