Abstract: A device to perform location-based audio signal compensation includes a memory configured to store instructions and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to execute the instructions to receive an audio input signal corresponding to sound received from a second device, determine position data indicative of a position of the device, and generate, based on the audio input signal, a compensation filter to be applied to an audio playback signal prior to playout from the second device, to at least partially compensate for distortion associated with sound propagation from the second device to the position of the device.

Abstract: In an aspect, a user equipment receives, via a microphone, an utterance from a user and determines, using radio frequency sensing, that the user performed a gesture while making the utterance. The user equipment determines an object associated with the gesture and transmits an enhanced directive to an application programming interface (API) of a smart assistance device. The enhanced directive is determined based on the object, the gesture, and the utterance. The enhanced directive causes the smart assistant device to perform an action.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for detecting audio sources and configuring acoustic device settings. For instance, a wireless device can obtain a first set of radio frequency (RF) sensing data associated with a first plurality of received waveforms corresponding to a first transmitted waveform reflected off of a plurality of reflectors. Based on the first set of RF sensing data, the wireless device can determine a classification of a first reflector from the plurality of reflectors. The wireless device can determine at least one acoustic setting based on the classification of the at least one reflector.

Abstract: A device to perform audio signal equalization includes one or more processors configured to receive impulse response data corresponding to multiple audio channels. Each audio channel is associated with a corresponding microphone of multiple microphones of an audio device and indicative of sound propagation from one or more speakers of the audio device to the corresponding microphone. The one or more processors are configured to generate equalization filter data that is based on the impulse response data and that is indicative of multiple equalization filters. Each of the equalization filters is associated with a corresponding audio channel of the multiple audio channels. The one or more processors are also configured to process the equalization filter data to determine a playback equalization filter to be applied to an audio playback signal prior to playout at the one or more speakers.

Some configurations include receiving a bitstream that comprises metadata and a soundfield description; parsing the metadata to obtain an effect identifier and at least one effect parameter value; and applying, to the soundfield description, an effect identified by the effect identifier. The applying may include using the at least one effect parameter value to apply the identified effect to the soundfield description.
