Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform beam refinement procedures for a first set of beams and a second set of beams. The first set of beams corresponds to a first set of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) of a serving cell and the second set of beams corresponds to a second set of SSBs of the serving cell. The UE may transmit a message indicating channel state feedback (CSF) including either a first power metric for the first set of SSBs or both the first power metric and a second power metric for the second set of SSBs. The power metric(s) included in the CSF may be based on a first refinement status for the first set of SSBs as well as a second refinement status for the second set of SSBs or the second power metric satisfying a threshold.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a synchronization signal block (SSB) comprising a plurality of symbols. The UE may obtain, during a plurality of measurement windows, a plurality of measurements associated with a beam group of a plurality of reception beams corresponding to a plurality of symbols of the SSB, wherein the beam group is associated with a serving cell and comprises a first set of beams and a second set of beams, wherein each beam of the beam group corresponds to a measurement window having a window size that is less than a size of a corresponding symbol of the plurality of symbols of the SSB. The UE may perform a wireless communication task based on the plurality of measurements. Numerous other aspects are described.

The UE may perform beam switching to a candidate UE receive beam of the set of candidate UE receive beams based at least in part on a result of measuring the reference signal.

Abstract: A UE may identify a channel correlation matrix for a channel between the UE and a network node. The UE may identify whether the channel is associated with an LOS condition based on the channel correlation matrix. The UE may obtain a plurality of eigenvalues of the channel correlation matrix based on an eigen decomposition operation on the channel correlation matrix. The UE may identify whether the channel is associated with the LOS condition based on the plurality of eigenvalues of the channel correlation matrix. The UE may identify that the channel is associated with the LOS condition if a difference between a greatest eigenvalue in the plurality of eigenvalues and an average of other eigenvalues in the plurality of eigenvalues is greater than a threshold. Otherwise, the UE may identify that the channel is not associated with the LOS condition.
