Abstract: A suspension and optimized resumption is provided for a multi-USIM UE. The UE is configured to transmit a suspension-triggering message to a first network to begin a transition of a first USIM from an RRC_CONNECTED state to an RRC_IDLE state. A contention-free random access procedure is also disclosed for the optimized resumption of the first USIM from the RRC_IDLE state back to the RRC_CONNECTED state.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for receiving encrypted positioning assistance data, requesting and obtaining cipher keys to decrypt the positioning assistance data. An example method for transmitting a cipher key request includes receiving cipher key information including a start time value, a duration value, and an advance time value, determining an advance time duration that is equal to a sum of the start time value and the duration value minus the advance time value, and transmitting the cipher key request within the advance time duration.

Abstract: Techniques for wireless communications are described. A communication device, for example, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a request message to a target master base station based on a change in a state of the UE, and receive a response message from the target master base station based on the transmitted request message from the UE. The response message may include secondary node (SN) information and UE context reference shared to the target master base station from a source master base station (also referred to as a primary base station). The SN information corresponding to the same secondary base station associated with the UE while previously connected to the source master base station. The UE context reference may be stored at the same secondary base station.
