Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques that may help reduce sector sweep time. In some cases, the techniques involve generating frames for transmission during a sector sweep procedure, each frame including one or more address fields being determined based on at least one of a transmitter address of the apparatus or a receiver address of an intended recipient of the generated frames and having fewer bits than at least one of the transmitter address or the receiver address.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for flow control in a wireless communication system. In certain aspects, an apparatus for wireless communications comprises an interface configured to receive, from a wireless node, one or more parameters specifying a memory at the wireless node, and an indication of an amount of free memory space in the memory at the wireless node. The apparatus also comprises a processing system configured to determine a number of data units to be transmitted to the wireless node based on the indication of the amount of free memory space and the one or more parameters, wherein the interface is further configured to output data units for transmission to the wireless node, wherein a number of the data units output for transmission to the wireless node equals the determined number of data units.

This reduces interference at the first and/or second devices.

Abstract: A two-stage technique for compressing radar data is disclosed in which, in the first stage, Constant False Alarm Rate (CFAR) compression is conducted using a median calculated from at least one dimension of radar data, which is then used to determine filtering threshold values for all dimensions of the radar data. The radar data is then compressed by filtering the radar data based on the filtering threshold values. In the second stage, peak detection is then performed on the compressed data to identify detected objects (targets). These and other embodiments are described herein.

Abstract: In certain aspects of the present disclosure an apparatus for wireless communication comprises a processing system and an interface. The processing system is configured to generate a preamble and a first data portion of a frame, wherein the preamble includes information for receiving the frame at a device, receive a message from the device, wherein the message provides feedback of reception of the first data portion by the device, and generate a second data portion of the frame. The interface is configure to output the preamble and the first data portion of the frame for transmission to the device, and output the second data portion of the frame for transmission to the device, wherein transmission of the first and second data portions of the frame are separated in time by a gap, and the message is received within the gap.
