Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for random access channel (RACH) occasions that overlap each other in time and frequency. In one aspect, the RACH occasions may use different preamble sequence sets. A base station may signal configuration information indicating the preamble sequence sets for the RACH occasions and information indicating a time-frequency resource allocation of the RACH occasions. A UE may perform a random access procedure in accordance with the configuration information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support listen before talk (LBT) for uplink transmissions using multiple subbands. A base station may support communication with a user equipment (UE) via multiple subbands and may transmit an uplink grant to the UE that allocates resources of the multiple subbands for transmission of a shared data channel by the UE. The base station may include an indication within the uplink grant that indicates to the UE to perform a given type of LBT for each subband. After transmitting the uplink grant, the base station may transmit control information or other signaling (e.g., channel occupancy time system information (COT-SI)) that indicates subbands on which the UE is to perform a given type of LBT or other subbands on which the UE is to perform a different type of LBT.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to uplink control channel transmissions with user multiplexing and reference signal transmissions are provided. A first wireless communication device obtains an uplink control channel multiplex configuration. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a grant indicating a plurality of resource blocks spaced apart from each other by at least one other resource block in a shared radio frequency band, the plurality of resource blocks scheduled for multiple wireless communication devices based on the uplink control channel multiplex configuration. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a first uplink control channel signal in one or more of the plurality of resource blocks based on the uplink control channel multiplex configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for various ways that abase station and a UE may resume uplink communications when a cyclic prefix extension does not occupy (“fill”) the gap between a downlink communication and an uplink communication. The techniques by the UE include performing an early LBT procedure (e.g., during the allocated downlink resources), puncturing the uplink resources, transmitting a reference signal to fill in a one symbol gap, and performing the UL transmission one symbol early. The techniques by the base station include including a cyclic postfix on the downlink (DL) channel to occupy the additional space and performing scheduling techniques to avoid case where a CPE may not fill the symbol periods between the downlink and uplink communication resources.

The described techniques may enable a network node to trigger a group of one or more user equipments (UEs) to transmit a reference signal to the network node. The network node may transmit a group common control channel indicating timing information or configuration information corresponding to a set of resources for the transmission of the reference signal. The one or more UEs may transmit the reference signal according to the timing information or configuration information.
