Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for processing image data. First image data of a scene can be obtained with a first zoom level and including at least a foreground portion and a background portion. A user input can be received indicative of an adjustment to increase or decrease a zoom level of the foreground relative to the background, corresponding to a second zoom level greater or less than the first zoom level. A second image data of the scene can be obtained, based on the adjustment and using the second zoom level, to include an adjusted foreground portion associated with the second zoom level. The adjusted foreground portion can be segmented from the second image data of the scene. A composite image can be generated based on combining the segmented foreground portion from the second image data with at least a portion of the first image data.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to exposure control for image capture devices. One example method generally includes receiving sensor data indicating a movement associated with an image capture device capturing a first frame and a second frame, wherein the first frame is associated with a higher exposure setting as compared to the second frame; predicting, based on the sensor data, a shift for aligning one or more features of the first frame and one or more features of the second frame; applying the shift to align the one or more features of the first frame and the one or more features of second frame; and generating a frame output at least in part by combining at least a portion of the first frame with at least a portion of the second frame.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory media are provided for frequency domain edge enhancement of multi-exposure high dynamic range (HDR) images. An example method can include determining an alignment between an HDR frame and a frame having an exposure time above a threshold; adjusting the frame based on the alignment; determining a gradient estimation map representing differences between image blocks in the HDR frame and image blocks in the frame; and generating, based on the gradient estimation map, a merged frame that includes a combination of at least some image data from the HDR frame and at least some image data from the frame.
