Abstract: A method/apparatus for wireless communication for a multi SIM/multi standby device having a single radio stores an uplink transmission timing of a first radio access technology (RAT) and a first path loss measurement before tuning away from the first RAT to perform an activity with a second RAT. A second path loss of the first RAT is measured after tuning back, and the second path loss measurement is compared to the first path loss measurement. The uplink transmission timing is adjusted based at least in part on the comparison.
