    Abstract: A rail mounting assembly for supporting a pair of electrical components on a case of a server is disclosed. The assembly includes a first mounting structure for receiving a first electrical component; a second mounting structure for receiving a second electrical component; and a single rail fixed between the first mounting structure and the second mounting structure, the single rail having an I-shaped cross-section. The single rail includes a first groove configured to engage with the first electrical component when the first electrical component is mounted to the first mounting structure, and a second groove configured to engage with the second electrical component when the second electrical component is mounted to the second mounting structure. A distance between the first electrical component engaged with the first groove and the second electrical component engaged with the second groove is less than 5 mm, preferably equal to or less than 4 mm.

The bracket includes a front panel, two side panels extending from the front panel, and a plurality of slots.     Abstract: A lever assembly for coupling a computer module to a chassis includes a base lever, a locking tab, and a flexible element positioned between the base lever and the locking tab. The base lever is rotatably coupled to the computer module. The base lever is rotatable between an installed position and an opened position. The locking tab is rotatably coupled to the computer module for engaging a locking surface on the chassis when in a locked position. The locking tab is rotatable between the locked position and an unlocked position. The flexible element is configured to bias the locking tab into the locked position when the base lever is in the installed position. Rotation of the base lever to the opened position induces rotation of the locking tab to the unlocked position.

    Abstract: A computing system includes a computing tray for receiving a computing device; a latch attached to the computing tray for releasing the computing tray during installation or removal operations; and a lock assembly for preventing accidental release of the computing tray. The lock assembly includes a fixed bracket having two fixed sides, one of the fixed sides being a mounting side attached to the computing tray near the latch; and a movable bracket having two movable sides attached respectively to the two fixed sides. The movable bracket is adjustable relative to the fixed bracket between a releasing position and a secured position. The movable bracket allows the latch to release the computing tray in the releasing position, and the movable bracket physically blocks the latch from releasing the computing tray in the secured position.
