    摘要: A method and system is provided for determining a location for each of a plurality of units, which are sub-divided into more than one sub-net groupings, that each include two or more units. Within each sub-net grouping, measured range information between units within the sub-nets and one or more reference units is gathered in at least a selected one of the units. The selected one of the units then estimates a location for each of the units, which minimizes any error in the measured ranges between the units in each of the corresponding sub-nets.

    摘要: A method and location determination module is provided for determining a location of one of a plurality of units using neighbor lists. Each unit is communicatively coupled to at least some of the other plurality of units, where at least some of the plurality of units are reference units, whose locations are known. The units communicate with other nearby units within communication range, to establish neighbor lists. A unit to be located then identifies an aggregate value corresponding to the number of occurrences of the reference units in the neighbor list of the unit to be located and the neighbor lists of each of a group of associated units. The location of the unit to be located is then determined, based upon the known locations of the reference units and the number of identified occurrences of the reference units in the corresponding neighbor lists.

The spectrum sensing performance data (144) indicates wireless communication performance of a wireless device (114) associated with the spectrum sensing performance data with respect to detecting a transmitted signal on the one or more communication channels. Wireless device membership of the set of wireless devices (114, 116, 118) allocated to the spectrum sensing group is dynamically adjusted based on the analysis.

The selected set of locations includes the set which has the minimum error value, where the error value is based on the aggregate of the differences between the range determined from the estimated locations and the measured range. By using different sets of initial location estimates, there is a greater chance that at least one of the sets of initial location estimates will avoid any local minimums and produce a more accurate estimate of unit locations.

The receiver includes an antenna for receiving a wireless signal comprising in-channel components and an out-of-channel component, wherein the in-channel components comprise a desired component and an in-channel interference component. A first filter of the receiver filters the wireless signal by blocking at least a portion of the out-of-channel component to produce a first signal comprising the in-channel components, and at least a second filter of the receiver filters the wireless signal by blocking at least a portion of the in-channel components to produce a second signal comprising the out-of-channel component. An in-channel interference estimator of the receiver generates an in-channel interference estimation signal based on the second signal. And a combiner of the filter combines the first signal and the second signal to at least partially cancel the in-channel interference component of the first signal.

The wireless communication device includes an upsampled broadband multicarrier signal generator and multiple upsampled sidelobe signal generators. The upsampled broadband multicarrier signal generator receives a symbol stream and, based on the symbol stream, generates a broadband multicarrier signal comprising an in-channel signal and a first multiple out-of-channel sidelobes. Each upsampled sidelobe signal generator of the multiple upsampled sidelobe signal generators receives at least a portion of the symbol stream and, based on at least a portion of the symbol stream, generates an out-of-channel sidelobes to produce a second multiple out-of-channel sidelobes. The wireless communication device further includes a combiner that combines the broadband multicarrier signal and the second multiple out-of-channel sidelobes to at least partially suppress first multiple out-of-channel sidelobes of the broadband multicarrier signal.
