摘要: Examples of systems and methods for locating movable objects such as carts (e.g., shopping carts) are disclosed. Such systems and methods can use dead reckoning techniques to estimate the current position of the movable object. Various techniques for improving accuracy of position estimates are disclosed, including compensation for various error sources involving the use of magnetometer and accelerometer, and using vibration analysis to derive wheel rotation rates. Also disclosed are various techniques to utilize characteristics of the operating environment in conjunction with or in lieu of dead reckoning techniques, including characteristic of environment such as ground texture, availability of signals from radio frequency (RF) transmitters including precision fix sources. Such systems and methods can be applied in both indoor and outdoor settings and in retail or warehouse settings.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a terminal device locating method, an apparatus and a storage medium. The method includes: receiving, by a first network element, a reference signal; determining a time-domain channel response of the reference signal according to the reference signal; performing filtering processing on the time-domain channel response to obtain a line-of-sight time-domain signal; determining subcarrier phase information of a line-of-sight frequency-domain signal according to the line-of-sight time-domain signal, where the subcarrier phase information is used to determine location information of a terminal device. The present disclosure can improve the accuracy of locating the terminal device.

摘要: In some embodiments, a transmitter has a first mode and a second mode. The transmitter is configured to repeatedly send discrete first wireless signals carrying transmitter identification information uniquely associated with the transmitter in the first mode and to send a second wireless signal carrying the transmitter identification information in the second mode. A receiver is configured to receive a wireless signal of the first wireless signals such that the receiver is activated by the wireless signal of the first wireless signal and, in response to receiving the wireless signal of the first wireless signals, to send a third wireless signal carrying the transmitter identification information to the transmitter. The transmitter is configured to transition from the first mode to the second mode in response to receiving the third wireless signal and determining that the third wireless signal includes the transmitter identification information uniquely associated with the transmitter.

摘要: An indoor position information storage processing system of an embodiment includes an electric power apparatus, a first transmitter, a first receiver, a position detector, and a first information processing device. The first information processing device processes information based on the distance-measurement waves and a position of the first receiver. The first distance calculation unit calculates a distance between the first transmitter and the first receiver on the basis of distance-measurement waves received by the first receiver. The first position calculation unit calculates a position of the first transmitter on the basis of the calculated distance and a position of the first receiver. The first storage processing unit stores the calculated position of the first transmitter in a storage unit as a position of the electric power apparatus.

摘要: A technique for determining a relative position of a preceding vehicle with respect to a succeeding vehicle in a vehicle platoon is disclosed, wherein the succeeding vehicle comprises at least two front tags and the preceding vehicle comprises at least two back tags, the front and back tags being configured to perform ranging measurements among each other using radio technology. A method implementation of the technique comprises determining (S202) pairwise distances between the front and back tags using ranging measurements performed by the front and back tags using the radio technology, and determining (S204) the relative position of the preceding vehicle with respect to the succeeding vehicle based on the determined pairwise distances.
