摘要： The present disclosure is directed to an aerosol delivery device and a holder for use with a removable substrate cartridge. The removable cartridge comprises an ignitable heat source and a substrate portion that includes a substrate material having an aerosol precursor composition configured to form an aerosol upon application of heat thereto. The holder includes a main body defining a receiving chamber configured to receive the substrate cartridge, a power source, and an inductive heating assembly. A least a portion of the inductive heating assembly is integral with the main body and is configured to ignite the ignitable heat source and to heat at least a portion of the substrate material.

In one example implementation, the consumable unit comprises an ignitable heat source and a substrate material having an aerosol precursor composition configured to form an aerosol upon application of heat thereto. The heat source of the consumable unit is contained within a susceptor pouch, and the susceptor pouch is configured to be heated by an inductive heating assembly to ignite the heat source. In some implementations, the susceptor pouch comprises the consumable unit. In other implementations, the substrate material is contained within a substrate container.

Some implementations further include a cartridge retention assembly and a sliding assembly. The sliding assembly is configured to slide relative to the main body to and from at least a loading position, wherein the cartridge retention assembly is configured to receive a substrate cartridge, and a use position, wherein the cartridge retention assembly is configured to retain a substrate cartridge.
