Abstract: A cartridge is provided for a reel of an elongated record web. The cartridge is comprised of demountable walled half sections which form a reel enclosure. The sections include integral structure for maintaining closure of the cartridge. Specifically located openings are provided in the walled sections for manipulation of the reel and record web. Structural configurations forming portions of half sections provide keying to assure proper reel and cartridge orientation.
