    Abstract: A concrete floor has a pipe passing through a hole in the floor. A drop-in fire stop assembly has a clam-shell configuration having first and second portions of a fire ring, split cage, split retainer ring, split intumescent ring, split inner smoke ring and split outer smoke ring each fastened together to rotate about a hinge on the split cage to open and close. The first and second portions have free ends that spread apart to fit around the tube in an open position, and close around the tube in a closed position. A latch on the free ends of the cage hold the two portions together in the closed position.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a water system that includes a prefabricated fitting tee for use with a water heater. The prefabricated fitting tee includes a fitting tee body that has a first port, a second port, and a third port. The first and third ports can be aligned along a main axis and the second port can be aligned along an axis angled relative to the main axis. The fitting tee body defines an interior passageway that is in fluid communication with the first, second, and third ports. One of the first and second ports is configured for connecting to a water inlet conduit for supplying water from an external source, the other one of the first and second ports is configured for connecting to a pressure relief or pressure absorption mechanism. The prefabricated fitting tee does not include a check valve for preventing flow from the first port to the third port and no check valve for preventing flow from the second port to the third port. A swivel nut can be rotatably mounted at the third port of the prefabricated fitting tee to provide an interconnection to the water heater. When the swivel nut is in a first condition, the swivel nut allows the prefabricated fitting tee to be rotated relative to the water heater about the main axis to allow a rotational orientation of the second port to be established. When the swivel nut is in a second condition, the swivel nut clamps the prefabricated fitting tee in the established rotational orientation.

    Abstract: Fire rated cleanout covers that restore and maintain a fire-rating of a constructed wall assembly. The fire rated cleanout covers are attached directly to cleanout tees to eliminate the need to secure a separate base component to a wall. Intumescent material is pre-incorporated with the fire rated cleanout covers prior to installation of the fire rated cleanout covers. As such, the intumescent material is carried with the fire rated cleanout cover when the fire rated cleanout cover is in use. The fire rated cleanout covers allow an installer to reuse the fire rated cleanout covers after maintenance or cleaning without reapplying the intumescent material to restore the fire rating of the wall.

    Abstract: A covering is provided to cover an opening in a surface through which a tubular member extends. The covering includes a base of a predetermined thickness and which is larger in diameter than the tubular member. The base defines an aperture which coincides with a central axis of the base.     Abstract: A water system that includes a prefabricated fitting tee for use with a water heater. The prefabricated fitting tee includes a fitting tee body that has a first, second, and third port.
