Abstract: A direction setting pin DIR receives a direction signal ROT that indicates the rotational direction of the stepping motor. A clock pin CLK receives a clock signal CLK that indicates the rotational direction of the stepping motor. A logic circuit generates a first internal signal and a second internal signal that respectively indicate the states of the first H-bridge circuit and the second H-bridge circuit according to the direction signal ROT and the clock signal CLK. When the clock signal CLK remains in a predetermined state for a predetermined judgment time, the logic circuit transits to a predetermined mode.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a motor driver circuit. The motor driver circuit includes: a logic circuit, configured to generate a control signal that instructs a high-side transistor to turn on or off; and a high-side driver, configured to drive the high-side transistor according to the control signal. The high-side driver includes: a charge pump circuit, configured to generate a boosted voltage according to a clock signal and supply the boosted voltage to a gate of the high-side transistor; a charging control circuit, configured to stop supplying the clock signal to the charge pump circuit after the control signal instructs the high-side transistor to turn on and after a charging period has elapsed; and a turn-off circuit, configured to reduce a voltage at the gate of the high-side transistor when the control signal instructs the high-side transistor to turn off.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a motor driver circuit. The motor driver circuit includes a high-side driver that drives a high-side transistor according to a control signal. The high-side driver includes a voltage monitoring circuit, a timer circuit and a charge pump circuit. The voltage monitoring circuit asserts a detection signal when a detection voltage of the high-side transistor becomes lower than a threshold value. The timer circuit starts measuring a predetermined time in response to the control signal changing to an on state that the high side transistor is instructed to turn on, or in response to an assertion of the detection signal when the control signal is in the on state. The charge pump circuit is active while the timer circuit measures the predetermined time, generates a boosted voltage in response to a clock signal and supplies the boosted voltage to a gate of the high-side transistor.

Abstract: Two control input pins INA and INB receive two control input signals from an external circuit. A logic circuit generates an internal signal SINT for indicating the state of an H-bridge circuit according to the two control input signals INA and INB. A pre-driver drives the H-bridge circuit based on the internal signal SINT. When the two control input signals INA and INB continue in a predetermined state for a predetermined judgment period of time, a standby circuit switches a driving circuit to a standby mode.
