摘要： A tunable transition piece aft-frame is disclosed for tuning the exit profile of combustion products as such products flow from a transition piece to a combustion product receiving apparatus. The aft-frame includes a generally rectilinear shaped body which has a laterally extending flange. Dilution holes are formed in the flange and are configured to allow dilution air to penetrate into the flow of the combustion products to shape the exit temperature profile of the combustion products.

An expected band-averaged spectral radiances image vector is simulated from training hyperspectral data and at least one filter transmittance function corresponding to the at least one optical filter. A simulated measured band-averaged spectral radiances image vector is simulated from the training hyperspectral data and the at least one transmittance function. A realistic measured band-averaged spectral radiances image vector is provided from at least one optical filter. An auto-correlation matrix of the simulated measured band-averaged spectral radiances image vector is calculated. An optimal out-of-band transform matrix is generated by matrix-multiplying the cross-correlation matrix and an inverse of the auto-correlation matrix. A realistic recovered band-averaged spectral radiances image vector is generated by matrix-multiplying the optimal out-of-band transform matrix and the realistic measured band-averaged spectral radiances image vector, the realistic recovered band-averaged spectral radiances image vector being free of out-of-band effects.

摘要： A method of multispectral decomposition for the removal of out-of-band effects. A band of a multispectral radiance is measured using at least one optical filter, upon scanning a plurality of original radiances. A spectral range of an integral is partitioned between a maximum cut-off wavelength of the band and a minimum cut-off wavelength of the band into a plurality of sub-ranges. A multispectral radiance vector is generated from the measured band-averaged spectral radiances. The pre-calculated multispectral decomposition transform matrix corresponding to the optical filter and the measured multispectral radiance vector are matrix-multiplied to generate a band-averaged spectral radiances image vector representing a plurality of recovered band-averaged spectral radiances. The plurality of recovered band-averaged spectral radiances is outputted, for example to a display, thereby generating a plurality of recovered radiances free of out-of-band effects and which approximate the plurality of original radiances.

摘要： A system and method for determining an initial duty cycle for startup of a voltage regulator involves generating a first current source responsive to an input voltage to the voltage regulator and generating a second current source responsive to an output voltage of the voltage regulator. A first capacitor is charged using the first current source responsive to a duty cycle of a PWM signal of the voltage regulator to a first voltage. A second capacitor is charged to a second voltage responsive to a period of the PWM signal of the voltage regulator. The initial duty cycle for startup of the voltage regulator is established as the duty cycle of the PWM signal when the first voltage is substantially equal to the second voltage.
