    摘要: An apparatus for splicing optical fibers is arranged on a supporting plate in the form of a printed circuit board. The apparatus comprises a first optical fiber guide, which is arranged on a spring plate to displace a first optical fiber in the longitudinal direction, and a second optical fiber guide, which is arranged on a further spring plate to displace a second optical fiber in the longitudinal direction. The spring plates are arranged on a respectively bendable lever arm. The optical fibers which have been inserted in the optical fiber guides can be displaced in a lateral direction by bending the lever arms. The precision required for alignment of the optical fibers can be provided by stepping down the forces acting on the bending apparatuses.

The apparatus can be used to record a plurality of data items which can be evaluated for analysis of a splice process, in particular for an analysis of a fault which has occurred during the splice process.

    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus for thermal connection of at least two optical fibers having a first positioning unit associated with the first optical fibers and a second positioning unit associated with the second optical fibers. The positioning units move ends of the first and of the second optical fibers relative to one another to a position which allows thermal connection. The apparatus also has a heat source with a first component and a second component which are arranged along an axis. An observation device is used to determine the distance of the end of at least one of the at least two optical fibers from the axis. The observation device is coupled to a control apparatus that adjusts at least one control parameter for the heat source as a function of the determined distance.

The sensor is configured for determining a feature of the optical waveguide. The actuator assembly is configured to move the optical waveguide with respect to at least one of the stripper, the cleaner, and the cleaver. Further, the actuator assembly includes a means for moving the optical waveguide and a means for clamping the optical waveguide.
