The invention is a pressure sensor including a main body including a pressure inlet at and end thereof, a deformable section deformed by a pressure introduced through the pressure inlet, and a non-deformable section maintaining the shape thereof even when supplied with a pressure introduced through the pressure inlet; an amorphous magnetic alloy member having a magnetostriction constant, the amorphous magnetic alloy member being adhered on the deformable section and the non-deformable section; a first permeability detection element for detecting the permeability of a part of the amorphous magnetic alloy member corresponding to the deformable section; a second permeability detection element for detecting the permeability of another part of the amorphous magnetic alloy member corresponding to the non-deformable section; and a yoke for covering the first and the second permeability detection elements; the yoke is adhered on the main body. The amorphous magnetic alloy member and the first and the second permeability detection elements are included in a magnetic circuit, and pressure detection is performed based on the difference between the permeability detected by the first permeability detection element and the permeability detected by the second permeability detection element. The difference is caused by the application of pressure.

An electrically conductive contact holder comprises a supporting member including a low thermal expansion supporting frame with a coefficient of linear expansion lower than that of a to-be-contacted member and a high thermal expansion supporting frame with a coefficient of linear expansion higher than that of the to-be-contacted member, which are stacked one on another. With this structure, a coefficient of linear expansion of the entire supporting member can be approximated to that of the to-be-contacted member. Thus, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of displacement between electrically conductive contacts and external connecting terminals even under high temperature conditions.

As a result, a small, thin, and highly sensitive mechanical sensor can be provided using stress magnetic effect. Furthermore, based on the anisotropy of detection sensitivity, intensity of the stress along a certain direction can be detected selectively.

A compact and solid-state mechanical sensor comprises a magnetic layer having magnetostriction and a planar coil for detecting a mechanical property as a change in impedance. The sensitivity of the sensor is improved with heat treatment to relax the internal stress in the magnetic layer. The magnetic layer 12a of 5 .mu.m of thickness is formed on a titanium substrate 11 of 9.4 ppm/.degree.C. thermal expansion coefficient. The magnetic layer comprises an Fe-based amorphous alloy film prepared with a sputtering method, and it has a composition of Fe 74, Cr 4, Si 13 and B 9 (at %), +22 ppm of saturation magnetostriction constant and 8.0 ppm/.degree.C. of thermal expansion coefficient. Upon receiving the incoming call request, the IP-telephone rings. When the caller places the IP-telephone that rings in a starting (off-hook) state, the call connection control unit sends a ring back tone to the IP-telephone and transmits an incoming call request to an incoming-call side IP-telephone. Upon receiving the incoming call request, the IP-telephone rings. When the recipient places the IP-telephone that rings in a starting state, the call connection control unit enables a call between the two IP-telephones.

A paste for manufacturing ferrite is produced by dissolving the following materials: organometallic compound comprising a metal element Fe (A); organometallic compound comprising a metal element Me (Me herein denotes at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mn, Li, Mg, Ni, Zn, Y and Gd) (B); and at least one material selected from terpenoid carboxylic acid and resins containing the composition of the terpenoid carboxylic acid (C) in organic solvent (D). The paste permits providing a dense and homogeneous ferrite with a good property. Moreover, the use of such ferrite permits producing ferrite thin films. Furthermore, the ferrite with an excellent high-frequency property can be provided by coating and firing the paste of the present invention. The temperature properties of YIG thin film and Gd-substituted YIG thin film of the present invention are shown.
