A pressure chamber is defined by seals between the retraction ball, the drum, and the shaft, and is configured to be acted upon by a pressure above a housing pressure. The retraction ball is sealed against the drum neck and against the shaft.

The hydrostatic working chamber has an opening on an outer surface of the cylinder drum by which, when the cylinder drum rotates, outlets of a high-pressure chamber and of a low-pressure chamber of the piston engine and a reversing surface arranged between the two outlets in the rotational direction can be passed over in alternating fashion. At least one pressurizing medium channel is provided which, on one hand, opens out in the reversing surface and, on the other, into a pressurizing medium trough of the piston engine.

摘要: A hydrostatic piston machine has an adjustment element that is adjustable for varying a displacement volume, and a rotating cylinder part having a plurality of cylinder bores with pistons that are supported on the adjustment element and delimit a displacement chamber. Each displacement chamber is moved in an alternating manner by a connecting opening to overlap a low-pressure control opening situated on a low-pressure side of a stationary control part and a high-pressure control opening situated on a high-pressure side of the control part. Two switching regions are situated between the low-pressure control opening and the high-pressure control opening, the pistons changing direction at a dead center within the switching regions. The position of the adjustment element is determined from a pressure profile which is a function of the variable size of the displacement chambers in a switching region, the variable size depending on the position of the adjustment element.

The recess in each liner is shaped such that, in an axial section through the liner enclosing an axis of the liner, a depth of the recess increases more than once and decreases more than once.

The control plate includes a control face on which at least one kidney-shaped high-pressure control opening extending axially through the control plate and at least one kidney-shaped low-pressure control opening extending axially through the control plate is formed and which defines a first sealing ridge which is formed radially inside the at least one high-pressure control opening and the at least one low-pressure control opening, and a second sealing ridge which is formed radially outside the at least one high-pressure control opening and the at least one low-pressure control opening. In this case, the second sealing ridge is wider in the radial direction, preferably in some portions, than the first sealing ridge. Additionally, an axial piston machine in a swash plate design is disclosed. The axial piston machine includes a control plate which has at least one kidney-shaped high-pressure control opening and at least one kidney-shaped low-pressure control opening, by way of which piston recesses of a cylinder drum which is rotatably mounted in a housing of the axial piston machine can be connected alternately to a high-pressure connection and a low-pressure connection during rotation of the cylinder drum. In this case, a first, radially inner sealing ridge and a second, radially outer sealing ridge, which is designed to be wider in the radial direction, preferably in some portions, than the first sealing ridge, are formed on a contact face between the control plate and the cylinder drum.
