Abstract:
The conveyor system for planar products (60), in particular print shop products, features a feeder device (50) as well as a gripper conveyor (10) with a plurality of grippers (12) that move along an orbital track (U), wherein the grippers (12) each include two gripper parts (14, 16) that can be pivoted relative to one another between an open position and a closed position. The relative position of the gripper parts (14, 16) to one another and/or the orientation of the whole gripper (12) in space is a function of its position along the orbital track and is set by at least one control guide (28, 30, 40, 80, 80′) that interacts with the grippers such that the gripper parts (14, 16) can be moved from an open position to a closed position while moving through a transfer area (A) of the orbital track (U) for the transfer of products (60) from the feeder device (50).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a collating apparatus (90), which includes a conveying track on which, in a closed circuit, a multiplicity of receiving units (13) arranged one after another in the direction of circulation to hold pre-products to be collated circulate, and on which, in at least one collating region (94, 95, 96), a plurality of feed devices are arranged one after another in the direction of circulation, from which pre-products are discharged into the receiving units (13) moving past on the conveying track. In such a collating apparatus, flexible operation is made possible in that the receiving units (13) are conveyed on the conveying track by means of a three-dimensionally flexible, preferably chain-like, conveying element, in that the receiving units (13) in each case have clamping means, which hold the pre-products collated in the receiving units (13) in a clamped manner, and in that at a plurality of points of the conveying track there are arranged transfer devices (91, 92, 93) which transport collated pre-products away from the receiving units (13) for post processing.
Abstract:
An apparatus for receiving and conveying sheet-like products (28), in particular printed products. A plurality of grippers (12) which are moved along a gripper movement path and a plurality of separating elements (14), which are separate from the grippers, are moved along a separating element movement path. The separating elements (14) each comprise at least one paddle element (18) which, in a receiving region (66), is capable of engaging beneath, and raising, an edge (30) of a product (28) which rests, at least in part, on a further product or on a bearing surface (34). The product (28) can then be gripped by a gripper (14). The paddle elements (18) have the advantage that it is possible to dispense with conventional suction mechanisms for raising the products (28), the design of such a receiving apparatus being simplified as a result.

Abstract:
An apparatus for transporting flexible, sheet-like products, in particular printed products 9, away and/or for further processing, and having a plurality of grippers 3 which can be moved along a gripper conveying route and follow one after the other in the transporting direction, and having a plurality of suction elements 2 which can be moved along a suction element conveying route and are intended for receiving in each case one product 9 and for transferring the received product 9 to a gripper 3, the above operations taking place in a receiving and transfer region wherein the suction element conveying route runs along or parallel to the gripper conveying route.
Abstract:
The apparatus for processing flexible, sheet-like products (14) has a feed conveyor (12) which is intended for feeding the products (14) to an intermediate conveyor (18). The latter has pivotably controlled grippers (22) arranged one behind the other and moved along a continuous circulatory path (26) in the direction of circulation (U). The intermediate conveyor (18) is intended for altering the position of the fed products (14), while the sequence of the products remains unaltered, such that the previously mutually facing sides of adjacent products (14) are reversed, and then for transferring the products to a removal conveyor (38). For this purpose, each gripper (22) is controlled such that the product (14) retained by it is drawn around the following gripper (22) as seen in the direction of circulation (U), from one side of the gripper to the other side.
Abstract:
A device for separating of individual, flat objects from the underside of a stack of this kind of objects (2) includes a roll bed conveyor consisting of a plurality of circulating rollers (9) and supporting the stack from beneath, wherein the rollers (9) are respectively rotatable around their longitudinal axis (10) and are moved along an orbit (11). Hereby the rollers (9) are coupled by a coupling (8) to at least one roller wheel (7) and, by means of this coupling, the longitudinal axes (10) of the rollers (9) are respectively pivotable in relation to the roller wheel (7). The rollers (9) are pivoted in a releasing region (13) of the orbit (11), through which an opening of the roll bed conveyor is created. Thus, the flat objects (2) can individually be conveyed from beneath the stack and transported away through the opening.
