    摘要: Multi-color CL images of nanoparticle samples may be generated, by irradiating with a scanning electron beam a nanoparticle sample that containing a plurality of spectrally distinct optical emitters configured to generate CL light at respective different color channels, then detecting the CL light from the nanoparticles to generate multi-color NP-CL images of the nanoparticle sample. In some embodiments, SE (secondary electron) images of the sample may be acquire, substantially simultaneously with the acquisition of the CL images, so as to generate correlative NP-CL and SE images of the nanoparticle sample. In some embodiments, the nanoparticles may be surface-functionalized so that the nanoparticles selectively bind only to particular structures of interest.

    摘要: A travel case for transporting insulin is provided with an outer bottle with an outer bottle cap, an inner bottle with an inner bottle cap, fins, and a means to thermally insulate the outer bottle. The inner bottle is located within the outer bottle. The fins are attached to and protrude radially from the inner bottle, thus acting to keep the inner bottle centrally located within and relative to the outer bottle, as well as to keep the inner bottle in a substantially upright position within the outer bottle. The inner bottle is adapted to receive one or more bottles of insulin. In use, ice is added to the outer bottle between the fins, the ice acting as a heat sink to keep the insulin bottles cold within the inner bottle.

The method includes providing a plurality of electrodes in contact with a material, applying a sinusoidal voltage to a select number of the electrodes at a predetermined frequency, determining gain and phase angle measurements at other of the electrodes in response to applying the sinusoidal voltage to the select number of electrodes, determining impedance values from the gain and phase angle measurements, computing an impedance spectrum for an area of the material from the determined impedance values, and comparing the computed impedance spectrum with a known impedance spectrum to identify spatial locations of defects in the material.
